This past weekend was the dual-tournaments of World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Hong Kong Trials + Storm Kimonos Copa De Hong Kong. A full-day event with all levels represented and present. I've selected a few pics to highlight here but if you'd like to view the entire album: CLICK HERE.
I do apologize for the limited shots as a couple of things happened. A few hiccups at home and on-sight made it a bit difficult. You are free to use them as you please but I ask that you help reference BJJ-ASIA when you do.
While I was unable to compete, from a spectators perspective the tournament was a success. As I'm sure no event is perfect but each successive event I've been to in HK has always shown improvement and a focus towards giving the competitors a great experience. In town as their VIP guest was Atos JJ world champion, Andre Galvao. I believe he had given seminar at Grips the evening prior but was not able to make it in time. Even so, he was present throughout the day and very generous with this time talking with competitors, taking photos and the like.
Perhaps it's just me but two tournaments in one-day is crazy. Kudos to the organizers at Kowloon BJJ for pulling it off.
