With the money collected from 2011 Thailand Open tournament fees and the following charity black-belt seminar, the BJJAT was able to raise over 60,000 baht in financial aid for those effected by the recent floods in Thailand. The floods covering a land mass that near equals a medium-sized state in the US, the country has taken a massive hit, displacing countless families and businesses. The association is very grateful for everyone's support and participation in this year's tournament and seminar.
A week ago, volunteers on the behalf of the association visited one of the areas most effected by the floods, Ayudthya, to hand-deliver supplies. Below are a set of photos taken by Chinook of the day.
