BJJ-ASIA PHOTO CONTEST SPONSORED BY REDSTAR BJJ

Thanks to Ivan (Studio 23) and Steve (BKKBJJ) for the suggestion on what the next contest/quiz should be to win a brand new white Redstar BJJ competition-gi. Both Steve and Ivan will receive a complementary SEABJJ community t-shirt for their winning suggestions. In the future, for those interested in hearing about such opportunities or other details regarding the scene that may not make it on BJJ-ASIA, be sure to join our SEABJJ facebook page. So here are the rules!

***BEST BJJ PHOTO DEPICTING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING SCENARIOS***

1. genuinely unique facial expression due to applied submission (struggle)
2. super-natural ability or rather acrobatic shot of throw/takedown/guardpass (action)
3. best coach/teammate photo screaming/yelling on the sidelines (emotion)

RULES:
1. Photo must be taken at an event within Southeast Asia (Thailand, Philippines, Hong Kong, Macau,Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Vietnam). This can include events like a BJJ/Grappling tournament, MMA event or general training.

2. The photo must be your own or a photo of you.

*note: If there is any conflict between the photographer/subject of the photo as to who wins the prize, the photo will be DQed. Figure it out before you send in the photo!

3. The photo must be in good taste (no lewd gestures).

4. Applications must be sent to luke@bjj-asia with 'photo contest' in the subject of the e-mail by December 19th!!! Please also include the following details (name, team, event/date of photo). A short description of the context of the photo may help but no essay please.

HOW THIS WORKS:
1. There will be a panel of three judges outside of myself that will review the photos once the deadline has passed. A top 5 will be picked from this selection and posted on BJJ-ASIA to put to a vote by you, the community.

2. Each finalist will receive a SEABJJ community t-shirt. Runner-up prizes for 2nd and 3rd will also be given and announced later.

GOOD LUCK!!!

You can submit as many entries as you like. Please be sure to label each one. For example, when naming the file, use your personal name. (i.e. "lukechaya_photocontest.jpg")
