This past Sunday, HKJJ played host to the Hong Kong jiu-jitsu community in an open sparring-session to raise money for earthquake/tsunami relief in Japan. Brad Ku reports back on the success of the event with photos and few words to share.
Luke, here are some photos from the fundraiser today. started today's training by having a moment of silence, praying for the lives lost in Japan. the event went great, everyone showed their generosity and kindness. the donation we collected will be brought to the Hong Kong Japanese Club by Tuesday, and will inform you the amount later on. SEABJJ T shirts and patches were all sold out, and once again, thank you for your generous support!
Big thanks needs to go out to the folks that organized this event (Keisuke Kita, Brad KU, Keisuke Takizawa, Makoto Aramaki). I'm sure will continue their efforts to help our friends in Japan. Hong Kong BJJ Community! -Luke
