BKKBJJ ACADEMY VIDEO

This past Saturday I took some time to video the morning class, edit the thing and added some music. Projects like this help break up the monotony of work and take me back to my college days in the studio. I didn't go in with a script or anything, just shot a lot of clips and sifted through the best ones to give a taste of what its like to train at Bangkok BJJ. When I can afford the time I will do more vids like this one, hope you all enjoy it and if you're ever in Bangkok, please come join us!

Why are there green belts there?

At Bangkok BJJ we have adopted the green-belt for those between white and blue. Students may have a strong base in whatever variety of grappling-arts, therefore are able to perform well during live-training but may lack the technical knowledge required of a blue-belt.

Our head instructor Prof Kayoom is a black-belt under Prof Ricardo Liborio (ATT) which is where we adopted this additional color to our belt system.

All green-belts when competing do so as white-belts.

The amazing thing is that this is a typical class for Prof Kayoom - hard workout with functional exercises and drills, detailed instruction, good vibe rolling session. I miss it - Scott
