So the first week back to training has been great. I'm not where know I can be but grateful to be training regularly again and enjoy the fruits of my labor. Making up for lost time with the family has also been rewarding as my boy is growing up so fast. I know it'll feel like no time at all and he'll be all grown-up.

The tournament is done, I can now catch my breath and prepare for the remainder of 2010 into 2011. There are still several large events before the new year in Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong and Japan. One in particular that I'm quite excited for is the Abu Dhabi Pro Jiu-Jitsu Trials taking place in Shanghai, CH on December 18th. Especially now that I've confirmed to attend the event representing BJJ-ASIA and maybe even compete, who knows. I will have a few days in Shanghai to cover the event and train at few of the academies in the area. It's been over two years since I was in China last and I have no doubt even more changes have taken place in the city.

If you haven't registered for this event and are looking to compete, you must do so by November 18th. On the same weekend will also be the very first China Open. Be sure to check out the following sites for more info and looking forward to seeing you guys/gals there this December.
