Not sure when it became available but just noticed today more options to customize the blog. So without taking a huge departure from the previous layout, I made the text area wider to fit those pesky wide-frame youtube vids and added a blog search engine. With the wider format I got a chance to update the banner as well.

Again, I'm always open for suggestions. Hope you like the new changes.

Hi, maybe a organized projection of upcoming regional events for the remaining year so competitiors/seminar seekers can plan their travel date?

is there any widget for that?

I've been wanting one of those for a while now but haven't found a widget/gadget yet but will keep looking. Always new stuff coming up I guess.

You know what, I'm working with google-calendar. We'll see if it works out.

OK, so I put the calendar up and it looks like it's going to work out. But, I have the Ray Elbe Seminar for the 16th but on the calendar is shows the 17th. Anyways, you click on the details and it will show the 17th. Not sure why it's having this little glitch.

If you click over the date in each box, the details of the event should appear in a pop-up window. When you click on August 15, this should appear:

"WhenSun, August 15, 8pm – 11pm

OK, this has to do with access to my google-calendar. I will see what can be done about this.

Thanks for the notice.

Hi, have you checked to make sure your calendar is set to be public? It's under settings and sharing.

Thanks for the links. Yes, I did make the calendar public but wasn't always given the option to show the details. When I opted for the setting that did show the details, it required everyone to be logged into google-calendar with id and password.

Will look into it further when I have time. Really would like to have this available on the blog as it makes things really easy to check out.
