Hong-Kong based Legend today announced a broadcast agreement with KIX, a new Asian action-themed TV channel, to broadcast its upcoming Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) competitions. A subsidiary of Tiger Gate Entertainment, KIX is the ultimate destination for action TV in Asia, offering MMA and fight tournaments, action movies, reality shows, extreme sports, and anime. KIX and Legend will partner together to broadcast the next five Legend tournaments, starting with next week’s Legend Fighting Championship 2.

“We are excited to begin this broadcast partnership with the Legend team,” said Tiger Gate CEO William Pfeiffer. “MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world, and Legend features some of the highest-level fighters in the Asia-Pacific region. Our mission is to bring top-quality action programming from Asia to our viewers throughout the region, and Legend is a perfect fit.”

“KIX is an ideal platform for us,” said Legend’s Chris Pollak. “Legend is devoted to showcasing the best of Asia-Pacific MMA, and KIX enables us to reach a regional audience that is passionate about our sport.”

KIX is currently available on NOW TV in Hong Kong; on StarHub in Singapore; and on Indovision, OkeVision, and AORA in Indonesia. Viewers in these countries should call their local Pay TV operators for more information on how to get KIX.
