does anyone know who owns evolve? because either they are spending some serious big bucks or they have some big connections to get all these world champs to go there to teach. it is pretty insane if you ask me.

from what i hear, the owner has megabucks and ultimately plans to have evolve branches worldwide. i suspect places like hong kong, shanghai and taipei will be next

I live in Singapore, but train at another gym. I heard that the real owners are from Abu Dhabi and are billionaires. I haven't heard about their plans to go overseas yet though.

Boxing is a big part of MMA.

Glad to see Evolve bringing in quality instructors.

Tiger Muay Thai just hired a new boxing coach as well.

Chokchai Chockvivat- fought Manny Pacquiao. 39-5 record. He joins an already accomplished list of Western Boxing instructors at.

Tiger helped WBO champion Michael Katsidis train for his boxing world title fight. He spent 8 weeks here with Berndon Smith and the TmT trainers before heading to Vegas for his fight.

Below is an Interview he did about training with Tiger Muay Thai.

yes, i also heard that evolve is backed by a billionaire who loves mma. so it is no surprise what they have done. i don't think it is from middle east though. i think the owner is from thailand or something?

world champs are great, but not all make great coaches

"world champs are great, but not all make great coaches"

A world champion ALWAYS has things they can show and teach. If you are a fighter, you can never pass down an opportunity to train and or-learn from a legit world champion like Yodsanan

The problem we've had at Tiger Muay Thai with our "current" world champions is that they are not "retired", so at the end of the day they still need to train themselves.

We have several Current Lumpini/Rajadamnern ranked fighters, but most of them are "fighters" first, teaching when they don't have anything on the fight schedule.

We've had much better success with hiring retired MT/Boxing World Champions who have stopped competing, because they can fully adjust to life as a "teacher" rather than always preparing themselves for their next fights.

Very solid coaching squad at Evolve.

i think elliot is confusing art of war in china with evolve. art of war is owned by the sheik in abu dhabi. i'm pretty sure evolve is owned by the billionaire thai guy and not the sheik.

With Renzo's involvement with Evolve, it would not be surprising if the Sheikh has something to do with it. Renzo has incredibly close ties with him and others in that region, these investors have backed Renzo with other various proejcts

Who cares if the billionaire that owns Evolve is from Thailand or the Middle East? Whoever it is, they are spending some big bucks.
