MY HEAD IS SPINNING

It's Monday and my head is spinning. Besides the tournament, I've got business guests to meet with and a tradeshow to attend all week. I believe my taper starts now, haha. Just doing my best to collect my thoughts and list all the things that still need to get done this week. While most of it is getting wrapped up, I won't be at my desk most of this week so if I don't respond to your e-mail right away, don't freak out.

Here are some contacts in case you need some last minute advice and or help.

Also, just a heads up on a few meetings/events
outside of the tournament.

TOURNAMENT VOLUNTEERS MEETING: SEPT 16
This is for all those looking to volunteer their time with keeping score, timing, running, brackets, etc. We will be meeting at Elefin Cafe on Sukhumvit Soi 1 @ 7pm. Some snacks will be provided for you and this is the time we will be teaching all the ref signals for score-keeping and such. We fully expect volunteers from all major schools in the Bangkok area and hopefully those visiting as well.

WHITE-BELT WEIGH-INS: SEPT 18

We've made it mandatory that all white-belts must weigh in the night before at Bangkok BJJ, located on Sukhumvit Soi 1. If you're stay at the Golden Palace Hotel, you just have to walk to the pool and you're there. This will take place from 6-8:30pm. Other belts are welcome to weigh in on this day but we are mostly concerned with white-belts. This will greatly improve our ability to start on time come Saturday morning and if you can't make it, please be sure to e-mail us so that we don't DQ you for not showing up, hehe.

REFEREE MEETING: SEPT 18

For all referees, we will be meeting to review the rules/regulations at E
lefin Cafe on Sukhumvit Soi 1 @ 7:30pm. This meeting will be head by Mark Simmerman.

TOURNAMENT AFTER PARTY: SEPT 20

We've booked a private space at the
Woodstock Bar located on Thonglor, Soi 13 following the last day of the tournament. They serve a variety of foods ranging from Burgers/Ribs/Mexican/Thai.

The address is:

Remember, the final day to register for the comp is September 16th. That evening, I will post the final registry on BJJ-ASIA. This will show any bracket-splits and combine
d divisions where needed.
