Showcasing a series of offensive strategies used against an aggesive half guard, Ramones Copa displays a clever neck crank, and back transition off an attempted sweep.

Marcelo "Ramones" Copa is a first degree black belt under Master Moises Muradi. Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Ramones was the head Jiu-Jitsu coach at the Unisantanna University from 2005 to 2008 and led them to a university championship last year. Not just a great coach, but also a great competitor, Ramones was a 5 time Brazilian University Champion, 3 time Sao Paulo State Jiu-Jitsu Champion and, in 2007, he won the Brazilian National Jiu-Jitsu Championship. Proving that he is a force in the grappling world, Ramones consistently places in the top three of big tournaments, such as the Brazilian National Championships and the Pan Jiu-Jitsu Chanmpionships, not only in his weight class but also in the absolute division.

Ramones has recently spent some time in Italy where he travelled, taught Jiu-Jitsu and won first place in the 2008 International No-Gi Championship. Ramones has earned several certificates in physical education and is a practioner and teacher of ginastica natural.
