T-SHIRTS & PATCHES

I have been receiving requests for the SEABJJ shirts and patches for some time now and would like to share with you what has kept me from making them available via mail-order. The cost of shipping from Thailand is insanely expensive, regardless if you send by regular post or Fedex. Believe me, I've checked and it's basically the same price regardless of the courier. I don't blame anyone for not taking me up on these cause you'd be paying 2-3x the cost of the shirt just for shipping.

Now to receive mail when buying online stuff is equally horrific. I get charged 30% of the retail value + VAT just to have my stuff released from customs. This is not including what it cost me to buy the stuff let alone the shipping costs. If you can't tell, I'm pretty peeved about this...It's quite upsetting because I've had shirts/DVD sent to me from the California for $17 USD and it would cost me $26 USD to send a single shirt to NYC.

If anyone has tips or help with distribution, I'd be open to hear it since I would like to produce more SEABJJ stuff to promote the scene but doesn't make much sense if I can't get it to you guys.
Thanks, Luke

how about funding someone outside of South East Asia to produce and distribute for you? Nothing fancy just a small time busines soperation that they can carry out from their house. You get to distribute merchandise and spread the Asian BJJ brand, while they get a small share of any produc sales!

Hi!

I live in the Philippines and would like to have some patches. Is there anyway we can get some of the patches here?

Alex: I am working with a shirt producer that I believe to be of good quality and very reasonable pricing. Since this is local it's much easier for me to work with on my free time. The market that I'm approaching is mostly to do with Southeast Asia.

Kendrick: The next time myself or a teammate from Bangkok competes in Manila, they should have a few to available.

Anonymous: I'd be willing to work with certain teams that would be open to work on consignment, selling shirts/patches/accessories. Would depend on the relationship I have with them and their ability to supply proper distribution.

Thanks guys,
Luke

Wow, cool post. I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real hard work to make a great article… but I put things off too much and never seem to get started. Thanks though. impressyourrussiangirl.com
