Last Saturday, CHECKMAT black-belt, Chico Mendes, arrived to Kuala Lumpur. Having just arrived from Europe where he was teaching and organizing the Scandinavian Open with Leo Vieira and Peter Blackwell. It is an annual tournament with it's best turnout in 2008 with IBJJF support, counting more than 500 competitors. Info at www.scandinavianopenbjj.com
Both Chico and Marcos Escobar will be conducting the 1st BJJ Camp/Seminar at the Pangkor Island Resort, organized by CRUSH MMA Center. In the week prior to the camp, Chico will be instructing alongside Marcos at CRUSH. Here are some pics so far.
Later this week, Cristiano “Alemao” Carvalho will be arriving from Singapore to instruct at the camp as well.
